DEA360 programs hope to combat the drug problem in central Ohio

DEA 360 logo(10WBNS, July 14) Compared to last year, drug fatalities in Franklin County have soared, according to data from the Coroner's office.

This spring, the DEA announced that it was bringing its 360 program to Central Ohio in response to the region's drug problem.

The 360 Strategy takes an innovative three-pronged approach to combating heroin/opioid use through Law Enforcement, Diversion, and Community Outreach.

The agency will work with local nonprofits like Project Fort and RREACT, while bringing anti-drug programs targeted to youth to the area.
